Crazy Day!
I can not say it better than that. It has truly been a crazy day! I think I can explain it better if I tell a bit more about myself. I am a single, stay at home mom of one child. I run a home daycare out of my home, obviously. Also, I home school my daughter and take around 9 hours of classes from a local community college. This is why I need to become a little better at managing my time, there is just not enough of it! Well, today about half of the little ones decided to sprout a strange rash. It looked awful when they were hot and toned down a bit when they cooled down. I am pretty sure, after hours of searching and phone calls, that it was fifths disease. It is not suppose to be a big deal but it does spread. From what I read it was contagious last week when they all had a small fever so it was too late to try to separate them now.
Anyway due to the excitement with the rash, my bad attitude and a trip to the doctor for me (not related to the rash, but my migraines) I did not exercise. I did do pretty well most of the day on my eating although I did have a small piece of cake tonight. The rest of the day I stayed on track with all my fruit, veggies and protein.
Oh, I wrapped my foot really tight with elastic wrap and started taking IB. My mom suggested it, she says that she has the same problem and it always works for her. This seems to have helped in just one day! I have been fighting with this for 3 months now, so this is great!
Here is the plan for tomorrow. I am going to get up early so that I can walk my little dog (as long as I get some sleep). He loves it and it is a great way for me to become more active. I guess he is not so little, he is a standard size American Eskimo but compared to my friends giant Danes he is tiny. Then while my daughter is at gymnastics I will do my treadmill work at the Y. And, of course, I will stay on track with my food.
Here is to a new day tomorrow!
